The best OYAKO-DON in Kyoto

OYAKO-DON is Japanese rice bowl dish, in which chicken, egg, sliced onion are all simmered together in a sauce and then served on top of rice.
OYA = parents (chicken)
KO = child (egg)
DON = DONBURI (rice served in a bowl)

And OYAKO-DON is a food name which is becoming known in the world little by little like SUKIYAKI or RAMEN.
All who have tried it, says that was really good!

Yesterday I found the best restaurant where serves it!
The restaurant name is HACHIDAIME GIHEI.
They select rice carefully, Cook the rice by original ceramic pot and also use the free range chicken of Kyoto.
Their OYAKO-DON is perfect!!! You must try it!
