Hi this is Hayateru from HIroshima Hana.
Last day I went back to my home town to join class reunion at elementary school.
It was since graduation to meet my old friends.
About 20 classmates met together and caught up with old friends.
We had only 2 classes and spent 6 years together, so we had lots to catch up with :)
I enjoyed talking with my old friend and had great time.
After drinking at Izakaya, we went to Karaoke and sung for 3 hours.
Day after the reunion I visited some places where I used to go when I was at school. First I went to eat ramen when I used to go when I was high school. This place is a few minutes walk from my high school, so I was going there often.
This place is ran by old couple and they looked older than before but the ramen was nice as before(I forgot to take picture).
Also I went to eat Okonomiyaki(I love to eat!). Now I live in Hiroshima, so its hard to find Kansai Okonomiyaki here. I like Hiroshima Okonomiyaki but they are so different that I sometimes want to eat Kansai one. They were also so delicious as before. I had not visited this place for a few years but nothing was changed both Okonomiyaki and the master.
Finally I visited another ramen place also close from my high school.
An former french chief runs this ramen place. Their Shoyu ramen is so good.
I talked a lot with my friends and parents and had many nice foods.
It was a memorable going home.

My first time experience of 'Gion festival'!
Hello, this is Mio form kyoto Hana hostel.I started to work here from last March and I experienced 'hoko & yama parade in Gion festival' this summer.
It was my first time to see the big parade.
Gion festival is the one of famous festivals in kyoto.
You can see yama and hoko parade when those objects go back to their storage on the final day of the festival.
On the day of the parade,my day started with my mistake.
I forgoto the chicket at home then I went back home and came back to Kyoto station.
It was an hour late than my schedule..
The parade had been started when I got to the festival.
However I could find Tsubasa(night duty stuff from Kyoto Hana hostel) there and we really enjoyed the parade.
Hoko and yama were incredibly beautiful, powerful and gorgeous more than I thought.
Each of them have attractive pictures on.
Also the pictures are like not only traditional Japanese style but also those have ethnicity from other Asian countries.
My eyes kept staing on their beautiful art.
It was also nice to see the street had different kind of mood as usual with the yama and hoko.
Why don't you see the fantastic parade when you come to kyoto in July?

Let's go to Saijo’s sake breweries (in Hiroshima) ♪
anyway,, Let me introduce Saijo’s sake breweries this time.
A visit to Saijo is like a trip back in time. In a very small area you will encounter some of the world’s most prestigious and oldest sake breweries. Feel free to drop in, look around and have a taste. Some sake makers called "Kuramoto" will allow you to come and see how sake is made.
I went to "kamoizumi sake breweries this time. about it as below
you can enjoy Japanese gardens (by MIREI SHIGEMORI).
We tasted many kinds sake the end of Sake tour. I was not drunk, but I've got a good buzz on haha(^^)
It takes about 40min from JR Hiroshima station to Saijo Sta (570yen one way).
Enjoy Hiroshima local real sake in Saijo♪
